Myanmar – “Learn, Grow” with Money Management Academy online learning platform

Learn, Grow - the slogan of Money Management Academy (MMA)

Together with ThitsaWorks, our long-term partner in Myanmar, the German Sparkassenstiftung (DSIK) has developed an online learning platform, the Money Management Academy (MMA).

The online platform MMA is developed by ThitsaWorks with the support of DSIK, aiming to target anyone who is interested in learning how to manage their finances. Unlike other platforms, MMA has a strong focus on financial education.

It is also a helpful tool for our goal: making financial knowledge the most accessible possible - anywhere, anytime.  What could be more natural than an online learning platform, especially in this digital world?

Money Management Academy is thus built up for financial training courses and is still on the way of developing content. Therefore, potential partners who are financial course providers, institutions, or education organizations and individuals are welcome.

At the moment, the first courses have become available: “Money Management 101”. This course is the result of the partnership between DSIK and Thitsawork, of which DSIK plays role as content creator and consulting. This course is available in 3 languages, English, Vietnamese and Burmese. The course “Digital and Financial Literacy: The Introduction” was developed by ThitsaWorks as they are experts in the digital field. By learning proper financial behaviors and planning, people become empowered and more financially resilient.  ThitsaWorks and DSIK set high standards when it comes to delivering content that is meaningful and useful in daily life.

The idea is making all financial and digital literacy courses available in multiple languages, and more courses are on the way to come. You can sign up and try it out in this link.

By making this online platform available, we hope to support professional development in the financial sector. Many Institutions are looking to scale up their training. However, they often face challenges when   face-to-face training is not cost-effective, and scalability is usually limited. Meanwhile, setting up an online learning platform is also costly and may not be feasible for individual organizations. Money Management Academy helps overcome these challenges by allowing institutions to upload their training to MMA. If face-to-face training needs to be converted to online format affordably, ThitsaWorks can also provide support for the efficient delivery of your courses to a wider audience. MMA will serve as a learning hub for the financial training courses upskilling the capacity of every individual in the industry.
