For the Vietnam’s goals of achieving COP26 commitments and its National Green Growth Strategy’s socio-economic development, EuroCharm Vietnam hosted the Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE) 2022 in Ho Chi Minh from 28th to 30th of November, 2022.
The German Sparkassenstiftung Vietnam, in cooperation with GBA (German Business Association) and AHK Vietnam (German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam) - was honored to be one of German company and organization exhibitors representing in the German pavilion.
The GEFE 2022 is the event for B2B & B2G discussions with senior EU-Vietnam decision makers, including EU commissioner, Ministers and government officials from Vietnam and EU, as well as global organization and business leaders. Multiple conferences were held with experts covering economic sectors, and exhibition of multinational and Vietnamese organizations, enterprises, SMEs and start-ups.
Under such context, German Sparkassenstiftung DSIK brought in our green finance solution – Green Finance Compass and Risk Radar. Realizing the value of Green Finance in the transition of a Green-Economy, many visitors were attracted to DSIK’s exhibition stall and showed much interest in the topic. Even young entrepreneurs of many SMEs or start-up admitted they are not familiar with the term Green Finance or clearly understand aspects of it, as much as with the tools DSIK is bringing: the Green Finance Compass and the Risk Radar.
