Our sustainable management

With its predecessor institutes, Sparkasse Südpfalz has been there for its customers for over 180 years: with holistic advice that is oriented towards the life phases and needs of its customers and on which families and companies rely over generations. In addition, Sparkasse Südpfalz is involved as an employer and trainer, as a promoter of the economy, as a taxpayer, client and to a large extent also as a donor and sponsor, thus sustainably enriching the culture and social life in its business area.

Building and Strengthening Microfinance in Bhutan

In 2012 the predecessor institute, Sparkasse Germersheim-Kandel signed a Project Agreement to support Spahe Project: “Building and Strengthening Microfinance in Bhutan”. Since then, the Sparkasse sent seven Short-Term-Experts to Bhutan, to train the staff member of the young Microfinance Institution with specific banking-knowledge.
