Handover the handbook “Financial management skill for women” to Center for women and Development in Vietnam

In November 2021, German Sparkassenstiftung South East Asia (DSIK) is honored to handover 50 handbooks “Financial Management Skill for Women” to the Center for women and Development (CWD).

Ms. Hanh Hoang – Financial Education and PR Expert represents DSIK Vietnam to handover the handbook to Ms. Duong T. Ngoc Linh – CWD Director

The books will be distributed through workshops and trainings of the Peace House Shelter – a home of women who are the victims of domestic violence and women trafficking. They are the people with many life difficulties and mostly with poor living conditions.

Hopefully the handbooks would enhance their financial management knowledge, which would play an important role in helping such women in need to overcome difficulty in life.

Peace House Shelter Project is run by the CWD which is under the management of Vietnam Women Union (VWU) – one of the strategic partners of DSIK South East Asia to implement project activities in Vietnam.

The Shelter has thus far welcome 260 women and children, coming from 15 minorities and 43 provinces throughout Vietnam.

The project not only gives direct assistance to victims in its shelter, but also organizes numerous activities on prevention and raising awareness as well as strengthening the capacity of each member in the Shelter.
